the name's Bond, James Bond

It seems like all we really needed was the official rendition of this Ian Fleming novel and a nasty, raw actor to pull off this outing of Casino Royale.
After 2 shots in the dark they finally made this story pop and sizzle with the help of the much discussed Daniel Craig as our new double oh. There was so much talk about this guy being the new Bond, and I knew it was for nothing, cause when I saw him in Layer Cake I knew we were gonna get a "back to basics" down and dirty Bond. And that's exactly what we get.
After 20 different movie seems like this is the One. Casino Royale is every thing you expect from a Bond pic from the good ole days of Sean Connery. Mean, fast and gritty just like the opening scene in the bathroom and the chase scene that followed. In fact every scene in this fast paced action thriller was done to the Tee.
Daniel Craig really proved himself as the cold hearted killer then as the lover. With many nice placed winks to the old school this movie really shined with this man behind. Shame on you if you had any doubts in this guy's ability.
Now it stands to reason the old debates will start up. Who's the best Bond? Is it Sean or Roger? Pierce or the new guy Daniel? Who can say? My money's on this Daniel guy rising up very quickly on the polls though. And that's alright with me.
My mom liked that the opening Musical Interlude was naked lady free, but I really liked all the shadowy naked women flip flopping around the screen as the music played on. I guess the death scenes were ok too, but I did miss the girls.
In closing all I can say is that I'm really looking forward to the next Bond movie and when's that last time you said those words?
